British defense contractor has signed a five-year partnership agreement with Canadian engineering company to expand engineering support for UK defense and submarine programs. The arrangement is designed to strengthen Babcock’s engineering capacity as military modernization and naval requirements increase across the UK and allied countries. AtkinsRéalis will contribute specialist expertise in defense infrastructure and submarine-related projects through a centralized contract structure intended to simplify procurement and improve planning efficiency. Babcock stated that the agreement would also improve early-stage coordination and accelerate support across multiple programs. Similar cooperation agreements were signed with nine additional suppliers to strengthen industrial support for complex defense projects.
