Raytheon will provide SeaRAM naval defense systems for Australia’s future Mogami-class frigates being acquired through the Sea3000 program. Contracted by Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, the agreement covers launchers, blast test vehicles, and technical support for the first three ships. The SeaRAM system offers autonomous terminal defense against airborne threats using missile-based interception combined with advanced Phalanx sensors.
