Thales will modernize Greece’s Hydra-class frigates with advanced radar, combat management, and fire-control technologies designed to improve naval situational awareness and operational readiness. The upgraded systems will strengthen the frigates’ ability to track and engage surface and aerial threats while supporting future interoperability with allied naval forces. The program reflects Greece’s broader military modernization strategy focused on improving maritime defense capabilities in the Eastern Mediterranean.
