The steel of the Royal Saudi Naval Force’s seventh Avante 2200-class corvette has been cut by Spanish defense company Navantia at its shipyard in San Fernando. Three months after the program’s first corvette, the ceremony marks the formal start of the ship’s construction. The initiative covers the provision of crew training and integrated logistical support services.
