Thales UK has delivered the first of four end-to-end autonomous minehunting systems to the Royal Navy. With a length of 12 meters (39 feet), the unmanned surface vessel RNMB “Ariadne” is equipped with artificial intelligence for autonomous target identification and can be operated remotely or autonomously, increasing crew safety and operational efficiency in hazardous minehunting operations.
