At the Naval Group shipyard in Lorient, France, the third Kimon-class frigate for the Greek Navy—HS Formion (F-603)—was launched into the water. This critical development ushers in the final stage of outfitting, including system integration and sea trials, ahead of its expected delivery.
The vessel has received key installations, including a reinforced steel mast and a Panoramic Sensors and Intelligence Module, which provides continuous 360-degree threat detection and enhanced mission control.
