General Dynamics NASSCO has delivered the USNS Lucy Stone, the fifth John Lewis-class fleet replenishment oiler, to the US Navy. The vessel will support naval operations by transporting fuel, dry cargo, and aviation supplies across global theaters. Part of a planned 20-ship fleet, the oiler can carry over 160,000 barrels of fuel and sail more than 6,000 nautical miles, enhancing the Navy’s logistics endurance and operational reach.
