Patria and Latvia have concluded an agreement covering lifecycle support for the Common Armoured Vehicle System vehicles used by the Latvian military. The arrangement supplements the broader lifecycle management framework signed in 2024 involving Latvia, Finland, and Patria, which later expanded to include Sweden and Denmark. The new agreement outlines Latvia-specific sustainment processes, including maintenance responsibilities, technical services, and supply arrangements to maintain long-term operational readiness. The contract integrates local support activities and original equipment manufacturer services into a single coordinated system consistent with the wider CAVS program. The initiative was originally launched by Finland in 2020 to provide partner nations with a shared 6×6 armored vehicle platform. Patria is currently fulfilling nearly 2,000 vehicle orders across the program, with more than 250 already delivered. The vehicle platform emphasizes mobility, survivability, and cost-effective operations.
