Rheinmetall and Hellenic Vehicles Industries (ELVO) have signed an agreement to assemble military trucks in Greece, strengthening the country’s domestic defense manufacturing capability. Production will take place at ELVO’s Thessaloniki facility and will include logistics vehicles and specialized military systems for the Greek armed forces. The collaboration also covers advanced vehicle-mounted systems such as air defense superstructures. Officials expect the partnership to create skilled jobs while reducing reliance on imported military vehicles.
