The Hellenic Army is strengthening its unmanned aerial capabilities through a new partnership with Shield AI focused on expanding the V-BAT drone fleet. The agreement supports Greece’s efforts to improve maritime domain awareness and maintain continuous ISR coverage over critical coastal and naval regions. As part of the initiative, Shield AI plans to establish a local office in Athens, reinforcing support for regional customers and contributing to broader defense cooperation between Greece and allied technology partners.
