EuroTrophy has secured a €330-million contract with KNDS Deutschland to supply Trophy Active Protection Systems for Leopard 2A8 tanks operated by Lithuania, the Netherlands, the Czech Republic, and Croatia. The deal includes spare parts, training, and logistical support, enabling a standardized configuration across all four users. Integrated as a baseline feature on the Leopard 2A8, Trophy provides automated detection and interception of incoming anti-tank threats. Using radar to identify and track projectiles, the system deploys countermeasures while simultaneously identifying the point of origin, information that can be shared across battle management networks. Already deployed on platforms such as the Leopard 2, M1 Abrams, and Merkava IV, Trophy is increasingly positioned as NATO’s preferred active protection solution.
