The Italian Armed Forces have taken delivery of their first four Lynx KF41 infantry fighting vehicles, formally launching the Army Armoured Combat Systems program. Delivered by Leonardo Rheinmetall Military Vehicles, the platforms will undergo testing and evaluation before operational fielding. The program initially covers 21 vehicles, with long-term plans potentially reaching around 1,000 units. Italian officials highlighted the vehicle’s advanced digital architecture and connectivity as key enablers for future multi-domain operations.
