The Czech Republic is progressing toward acquiring more than 250 new armored personnel carriers to replace its Pandur II 8×8 fleet. A feasibility study submitted in late 2025 outlines procurement options potentially worth tens of billions of crowns. Domestic manufacturer Tatra Defence Vehicle’s Pandur 8×8 EVO is a leading contender, alongside foreign platforms such as the Boxer and Patria AMV XP. Deliveries could begin in 2029 if approved.
