Kongsberg Defence & Aerospace has secured a 140-million-euro contract with Patria to deliver several hundred Protector RS4 remote weapon stations for Germany’s and Sweden’s CAVS 6×6 vehicle fleets. Germany recently ordered 876 vehicles, while Sweden expanded its procurement with additional units. The RS4 system supports small- and medium-caliber weapons and can integrate coaxial arms and anti-tank missiles. Featuring stabilized 2+2 axis architecture and advanced electro-optical sensors, it enhances accuracy in mobile operations. Deliveries will continue through 2026 and beyond.
