To investigate technologies for robotic land platforms, the French defense procurement agency (DGA) has inked a framework agreement with KNDS France and Safran Electronics & Defense. The seven-year DROIDE plan is scheduled for 2030–2035. Remote operated vectors will be used more often, and their range of missions will be expanded, including into the terrestrial domain, which is particularly complicated. Capacity considerations support this acceleration.
