Parsons Corporation and the US Air Force have collaborated to provide the Joint Light Tactical Vehicle (JLTV) with a directed energy bomb disposal system. The deployment is a component of the service’s initiative to upgrade its Recovery of Airbase Denied by Ordnance (RADBO) capabilities, which are made up of laser technology-equipped vehicles intended to neutralize unexploded ordnance in airfields and other settings. The Virginia-based business will supply its flagship Zeus 4 high-energy weapon, which can neutralize up to 50 distinct kinds of ordnance, including landmines and general-purpose bombs, as part of the agreement.
