As part of the expansion of its army’s heavy fleet, Poland has announced its intention to purchase more K2 Black Panther main battle tanks from South Korea. The statement follows Warsaw’s $5.76 billion investment in August 2022 to acquire 180 K2 systems and over 200 K9A1 self-propelled howitzers. According to many sources, the new agreement, which is anticipated to be signed in Poland next month, will cost about 9 trillion won ($6.1 billion) and include 180 additional vehicles.
