KNDS Deutschland has signed a contract with the Lithuanian Defence Materiel Agency for the supply of 44 LEOPARD 2 A8 tanks to the Lithuanian Army. Lithuania becomes the 23rd LEOPARD 2 user country with the establishment of an armored unit, marking the first time in its history. The agreement, worth EUR 950 million, includes a full logistics and spare parts package in addition to the LEOPARD 2 A8 main battle tanks.
