Following earlier acquisitions in 2017 and 2020, Bucharest’s third order of Patriot systems is represented by the $946 million deal that RTX has secured to provide further Patriot missile systems to Romania in order to strengthen the country’s air defense capabilities. The most recent agreement includes the provision of Patriot fire units, which have sophisticated radars, control stations, and interceptor missiles.
