BAE Systems Hägglunds and Iveco Defence Vehicles have teamed up through a new memorandum of understanding to offer the BvS10 tracked armored vehicle to Italy’s military. The collaboration outlines a joint approach to configure the vehicle for the Italian Armed Forces and establish local production capabilities.
The companies will utilize their technical experience and prior cooperation to deliver a solution aligned with Italy’s defense modernization goals. With a strong presence in several allied nations—including Austria, the UK, and the Netherlands—the BvS10 is recognized for its mobility in challenging terrain and its battlefield resilience. The deal could also pave the way for increased cooperation between Italian and international defense stakeholders.
