Poland has received 38 M1A2 SEPv3 Abrams tanks and 14 M88A2 Hercules recovery vehicles from the US under its 2022 contract. The delivery is part of a 250-tank order, along with bridges, training, logistics, and ammunition. The new tanks, featuring advanced armor and sensors, join Poland’s Leopard 2, K2, and PT-91 fleets. The Abrams, powered by a 1,500-hp turbine, offers a 120mm gun, multiple machine guns, and speeds above 40 mph. Deliveries continue through 2026.
