Sweden has ordered 94 more Patria 6×6 armored vehicles under the CAVS program, adding to its March 2024 order of 321 vehicles and bringing its fleet to 415. Valued at 1.5 billion SEK, the package includes troop transport, command-and-control, and Medevac variants, with deliveries from 2025 to 2030. Sweden’s Ministry of Defence said the expansion reinforces interoperability and supply security across CAVS member nations. The buy follows additional Swedish defense procurements, including RIPSAW M3 robotic vehicles and more Sisu GTP 4×4 platforms. Launched in 2020 and led by Finland and Patria, the CAVS consortium includes Denmark, Germany, Latvia, Norway, Sweden, and the UK. The Patria 6×6 is the standard platform, offering modularity and mission adaptability. The program remains open to new participants with aligned requirements.
