Argentina has signed a letter of acceptance with the United States to acquire 235 Stryker 8×8 armored vehicles for its Army. The planned purchase covers infantry carrier, command, fire-support, and medical evacuation variants. It follows the delivery of eight Strykers during late 2025 and early 2026. The vehicles will strengthen Argentina’s mechanized forces with improved mobility and protection. The Stryker can carry up to nine personnel and features ceramic armor and mine-resistant protection. Depending on the variant, it can be equipped with machine guns, grenade launchers, chain guns, or larger-caliber weapons.
