Hanwha Aerospace has introduced the Korea New Infantry Fighting Vehicle (K-NIFV), a next-generation tracked combat vehicle engineered to counter drones and operate effectively in contested electromagnetic environments.
Unveiled at Seoul ADEX 2025, the K-NIFV evolves from the Redback platform but replaces its manned turret with an unmanned system, enhancing crew survivability and creating additional space for an eight-soldier squad.
Its modular turret is equipped with a 30mm cannon, upgradeable to a 40mm cased-telescoped gun, along with a coaxial 7.62mm machine gun and dual launch canisters for an indigenously developed anti-tank guided missile.
