Lockheed Martin and Lithuania’s Ministry of National Defence have officially unveiled the country’s first HIMARS systems during a ceremony in Arkansas. The event highlighted growing defense cooperation between Lithuania and the US as the Baltic nation strengthens long-range strike capabilities. Lithuania initially ordered eight HIMARS launchers in 2022 and later approved an additional battery in 2026. The mobile artillery platform is capable of launching GMLRS rockets, PrSM missiles, and ATACMS missiles, providing precision strike capability at extended ranges.
