Lithuania has signed a $280 million agreement with the United States to acquire an additional battery of HIMARS. The deal includes launchers, guided missiles, communication systems, and logistical support, building on a previous $495 million order placed in 2022. Deliveries are expected to begin soon, with full operational capability targeted by 2027. The procurement reflects Lithuania’s ongoing efforts to strengthen its defense posture amid regional security concerns and deepen military cooperation with the US.
