The US Navy has expanded production of ESSM Block 2 missiles through a major contract with Raytheon. These missiles protect naval ships from fast and complex aerial threats, including drones and anti-ship missiles. With improved tracking and performance, they play a key role in strengthening allied maritime defence capabilities.
