Bharat Supply & Support Alliance has introduced the TRIYAM-3D autonomous air defense system, an AI-driven platform created to counter drones and coordinated swarm attacks. Built around a “Detect, Decide, Destroy” concept, the system combines threat detection, target classification, and hard-kill engagement within a compact architecture. TRIYAM-3D is designed to react rapidly against low-flying unmanned threats where human response time may be too slow. At its core is a three-barrel Gatling gun intended for close- to medium-range engagements. Unlike missile-based systems, the gun solution offers a more economical method for defeating inexpensive drones, particularly in swarm scenarios where missile use can be cost-prohibitive. The company claims a hit probability of over 90 percent, supported by AI-enabled fire control and tracking algorithms. Effective range is listed at up to 1,000 meters, making it suitable for point defense of bases, infrastructure, and frontline assets. Weighing under 150 kilograms excluding weapon and ammunition, the modular turret offers full 360-degree coverage and can be mounted on vehicles or static sites.
