Thales and ArianeGroup have successfully completed the first firing test of the FLP-T 150 tactical ballistic missile, a system being developed as a potential indigenous replacement for France’s aging MLRS capability. Designed for ranges up to 150 kilometers, the supersonic missile incorporates advanced propulsion, maneuverability, and guidance technologies that improve survivability against modern air defenses. The program also includes the mobile X-Fire launcher, which is intended to provide rapid deployment and interoperability with future ballistic munitions.
