Australia has taken delivery of the first Raytheon Next Generation Jammer Mid-Band pods intended for integration with its EA-18G Growler aircraft. The pods form part of a broader modernization plan to improve airborne electronic attack capabilities. Equipped with AESA technology, digital back-end systems, and modular architecture, the NGJ-MB is designed to suppress hostile radars and communication networks while improving aircraft survivability. The order covers eight complete shipsets, with additional deliveries expected during the year.
