Raytheon has flight-tested its RAIVEN Staring sensor suite aboard a UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter, turning the aircraft into a mobile test platform. During zero-light operations, the system successfully mapped urban areas, marshlands, and coastal zones. The air-cooled three-sensor package is designed to provide persistent surveillance and improved situational awareness in darkness or difficult visibility. The demonstration highlights growing demand for advanced airborne sensors that can be integrated onto legacy rotorcraft without major redesign.
