The Philippine Air Force has formally accepted five additional S-70i Black Hawk helicopters and eight M134-H machine guns, bringing its total received aircraft to 25 out of 32 ordered. Delivered under a contract with PZL Mielec, the helicopters enhance the PAF’s air mobility, disaster response, and utility lift capabilities. Once all deliveries are completed, the fleet will grow to 47 Black Hawks, significantly strengthening operational coverage across the archipelago. Local maintenance and sustainment support is being provided through partnerships with Lockheed Martin and Philippine industry.
