Embraer has completed final assembly and rolled out the Republic of Korea Air Force’s first C-390 Millennium transport aircraft, marking a key milestone in Seoul’s Large Transport Aircraft initiative. South Korea became the first Asian customer for the C-390 when it selected the Brazilian platform in 2023 to modernize its tactical airlift capabilities. Beyond aircraft delivery, Embraer will provide a comprehensive support and services package while partnering with South Korean maintenance and sustainment companies to ensure long-term fleet availability. The twin-engine jet transport offers high payload capacity, long range, and multi-mission flexibility, enabling roles ranging from troop transport and logistics to medical evacuation and disaster relief.
