Patria has signed an agreement with Pratt & Whitney to perform final assembly of F135 engines in Finland for the Finnish Air Force’s incoming F-35 fleet. Production has begun at the company’s Linnavuori facility in Nokia and will continue through 2030. The deal expands into maintenance, repair, and overhaul under a prior 2024 framework agreement. Finland’s first F-35A is expected in 2026, part of a $10-billion program to acquire 64 jets replacing its F/A-18 Hornets.
