UK defence firm Babcock International and Turkey’s Aselsan have signed an agreement to explore options for supporting the Royal Air Force’s future electronic warfare training requirements. The collaboration will assess a Surface Electronic Warfare Threat training system under the RAF’s Next Generation Operational Training programme, aimed at exposing aircrews to advanced air defence threats through realistic simulations rather than relying solely on live exercises.
