Turkish Aerospace Industries has received an order for the Turkish Air Force’s first batch of 20 KAAN stealth fighters, with deliveries scheduled from 2028 to 2030. The twin-engine fifth-generation aircraft is designed for air superiority and precision strike missions and features internal weapons bays for indigenous missiles and cruise weapons. The deal follows Indonesia’s reported order for 48 KAAN jets under a separate export agreement.
