has been awarded a $991.12-million contract by the US Department of Defense to supply 432 electronic warfare modification kits for F-35 Lightning II fighter aircraft. The upgrades are expected to support the aircraft’s Block 4 modernization effort, which focuses on improving survivability against increasingly advanced threats. The kits will be installed across US Air Force, Marine Corps, and Navy F-35 variants, while additional units will be delivered to international operators and partner nations. The enhancements are linked to upgrades of the AN/ASQ-239 electronic warfare suite, which provides radar warning, jamming, and situational awareness capabilities. Production will continue in Fort Worth, Texas, through 2032.
