Anduril Industries and Elbit Systems of America have announced a partnership to compete for the US Army’s Self-Propelled Howitzer Modernization (SPH-M) program. The team will offer the SIGMA Mobile Tactical Cannon, a wheeled 155mm self-propelled artillery platform enhanced with Anduril’s advanced software, autonomy technologies, and battlefield networking capabilities. The proposed system is designed to provide highly mobile long-range fire support while integrating seamlessly into Army command-and-control networks. Future variants are expected to incorporate Anduril’s Lattice platform, enabling greater automation, situational awareness, and digital connectivity on the battlefield.
