Denmark has converted its temporary use of Saab’s Giraffe 1X radar systems into a permanent procurement after the sensors successfully supported air surveillance and drone detection during major security events in Copenhagen. The compact 3D radars provide rapid deployment, broad threat detection, and enhanced protection for critical sites, while reinforcing Denmark’s air defense network alongside growing adoption across NATO members.
