Britain and Turkey have finalized a 10-year defense deal worth close to $11 billion for the sale of 20 Eurofighter Typhoon fighter jets. The UK Ministry of Defence described the agreement as the “largest fighter jet deal in a generation,” highlighting that it will strengthen Turkey’s operational capabilities and bolster NATO’s deterrence posture. The accord is also expected to support 20,000 British jobs, with provisions allowing for further Eurofighter deliveries.
