Boeing has received an $8.5-billion award from the US DoD to deliver 25 F-15IA fighter jets to Israel, including options for 25 more, under a foreign military sale program. The contract encompasses full assembly, testing, and integration, with work conducted in St. Louis and oversight from the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center. The F-15IA, Israel’s F-15EX variant, features advanced radar, IRST sensors, targeting pods, electronic countermeasures, and twin GE F110 engines for supersonic performance. Deliveries commencing in 2031 will enhance Israel’s combat air capabilities and ensure interoperability with fifth-generation assets such as F-22s and F-35s.
