Greece and Embraer are exploring a new partnership focused on in-country support for the C-390 Millennium military transport aircraft. The proposed arrangement would enable Hellenic Aerospace Industry to conduct maintenance and sustainment activities locally, improving long-term fleet readiness and strengthening Greece’s domestic aerospace sector. The move comes as Athens evaluates the C-390 as a possible addition to its transport fleet under a wider armed forces modernization plan. Embraer has already secured multiple European operators for the aircraft and continues expanding regional support infrastructure to strengthen its position in the defense market.
