Airbus has secured another order from Thailand for two additional C295 tactical transport aircraft, expanding the country’s operational fleet and reinforcing its medium-lift air mobility capability. The aircraft are designed for troop transport, cargo delivery, and operations from short or underdeveloped runways, providing flexibility for both military and humanitarian missions. The acquisition also deepens cooperation between Airbus and Thailand’s domestic aerospace support sector through local maintenance partnerships.
