KBR has secured a task order worth up to $208 million to support the US Army’s Tactical Aviation and Ground Munitions Project Office. The agreement extends KBR’s role as prime contractor and focuses on improving acquisition methods to accelerate the deployment of next-generation precision-strike capabilities. Over a five-year period, the company will provide support across engineering, rapid prototyping, modernization, foreign military sales, and global logistics. The work will contribute to Army modernization priorities involving multi-domain operations, aviation lethality, and counter-unmanned aerial systems. The TAGM Project Office, part of Portfolio Acquisition Executive FIRES, supports the fielding of major weapons including Hellfire, Joint Air-to-Ground Missiles, Javelin, TOW, Hydra rockets, and Long-Range Precision Munitions. KBR’s Mission Technology Solutions division will conduct the work and is planned to become part of the company’s Trinzic business following its separation. The contract is intended to help the Army move advanced precision-fire capabilities from development toward operational deployment more efficiently.
