Adani Defence & Aerospace has begun construction of a ₹4,500 crore integrated missile and propellant manufacturing complex in Shivpuri, Madhya Pradesh, creating what is expected to become South Asia’s largest private-sector missile production facility. The project will support the complete missile manufacturing process, from raw materials and propellants to fully assembled medium- and long-range missile systems. Scheduled for completion within three years, the facility is expected to generate around 5,000 direct and indirect jobs while integrating more than 50 MSMEs into its supply chain. Together with Adani’s existing small arms facility in Gwalior, the project strengthens India’s indigenous defence manufacturing ecosystem and regional industrial capabilities.
