Thales and Systematic have established a strategic partnership to strengthen integrated air defense capabilities for Denmark. The collaboration combines Systematic’s command-and-control software with Thales’ air defense technologies, including the SAMP/T NG missile defense system. Rather than creating a completely new weapon system, the partnership focuses on connecting existing and future air defense assets so they can operate together more effectively. The companies aim to deliver interoperable capabilities compatible with Denmark’s defense architecture and NATO operations. The agreement will also support Denmark’s Acquisition and Logistics Organisation and could increase local industrial participation while creating potential opportunities for Danish defense companies in international markets. The partnership forms part of Denmark’s broader effort to expand defense cooperation and modernize its air and missile defense infrastructure. Recent initiatives include cooperation between DroneShield and Terma on counter-drone systems and Navantia’s proposed partnership supporting future Danish naval programs.
